NEWS FOR ALABAMA LIBRARIES |
To order tax forms from the Dept of Revenue go to: www.revenue.alabama.gov/incometax/form2300/order.cfm
Once there, decide whether you want paper forms or a CD containing all the forms to be printed at will. When ordering paper forms be sure to order the actual number of forms you will want (do not order by boxes, if you put 1 in the quantity box you will only receive 1 form). The 40NR forms are being cut back in quantity due to the low numbers of Non-Residents filing Alabama taxes, the Dept of Revenue suggest keeping these forms behind the desk and handing out only when requested. The forms are being sent directly from the printer to cut down on delays in filling requests. Once you have completed the ordering process, you will receive an email confirmation.
Also, patrons can go online to the same site and order their own forms in the same manner and have them sent directly to their house.
